What are NCV and EMG tests?
Tests that check how well nerves carry signals (nerve conduction velocity, NCV) and how muscles respond (electromyography, EMG), using small electrical pulses and a fine needle. They help find nerve damage, for example from diabetes or a trapped nerve.
